Journey up the Gobi through the country’s highlights and wonders, from an Eagle Valley to a golden sand dune, the red cliff of Bayanzag and life of Nomad people. DAY 1: TERELJ NATIONAL PARK

 A company guide will meet you upon arrival at the airport after exiting customs and immigration. Hit the road to discover Terelj National park just 70 km east of the capital.  This park is a mix of where past and present blend, creating an authentic Mongolian experience.  In this vibrant place, no trip is complete without visiting Turtle natural rock and the mesmerizing natural formations of rocky ridges.

    Enjoy your very first Ger/dwelling/ accommodation and its cozy retreat. Come and feed your imagination with the sights, sounds and culinary flavors of Terelj. Take a hike to a local meditation temple which is especially recognized as the Center of Meditation and Philosophical studies and get inspired by the teachings of Buddha.

DAY 2: ULAANBAATAR CITY TOUR

    Drive to Ulaanbaatar. On the way, visit one of the biggest construction projects, the Chinggis Khan statue complex. It takes 9th place among the horse statues in the world. The statue of the conqueror points east direction with a golden whip toward his birthplace.

    Continue the tour by visiting the National Historical Museum of Mongolia. Learn about the country’s rich history from the Stone Age to the present. The museum invites you to step into the 13th century Mongol empire, a highlight is a wide array and full collection of traditional clothes. A short walk across the street takes us to the heart of the city, Chinggis Khaan's main square. Monuments at the square lead you to strikingly beautiful architecture and an abundance of history.

    Your welcome dinner will include a folklore performance featuring the art of throat singing. This art originated based on the sound of the hills and spirit. Wonder at Morin Khuur expressing the world with two strings, throat singing, and other artistic dance genres.

DAY 3: YOL VALLEY

    Head south to Dalanzadgad, the nearest town center for our destination, an Eagle Valley. We are gonna use local transportation to reach our place. Is not it interesting? Our destination is an Eagle Valley which nestles within the Gobi Gurvan Saikhan mountain. Eagle Valley is a unique natural oasis set in Gobi Gurvan Saikhan Mountain range with the thick corridor of ice glacier and a deep shaded gorge. It remains frozen almost the entire year except for late summer.

DAY 4: EAGLE VALLEY

    Early in the morning, we will hike for around 2 hours through this picturesque area. The shadowed depth of Eagle Valley, circle grown juniper and beds of wildflowers give astonishing fragrance while you follow the narrow river as it flows softly through the gorge.  Enjoy spotting bearded vulture, the highest-flying bird and some other species of rare birds of the country.

DAY 5: KHONGOR SAND DUNE

    Today we drive to Khongor sand dunes, the longest sand dune which continues for 130 km. This must-see site is well known as Singing Dune due to its airplane engine like sound. Khongor sand dunes are the biggest ones in Mongolia reaching 300 meters high.

     Spending time seeing dawn and sunset is something you won’t forget with the ever-changing colors. Stay 2 nights in camel breeding family which settles just north of long sand dune. Experience local life of nomadic people and their everyday activity.

DAY 6: KHONGOR SAND DUNE

     The Khongoryn River flows along the sand dunes and gives birth to an oasis called Seruun Bulag. Hop on a two-humped camel and ride along the sand dune by observing the nearest camel breeding nomads. Gobi people take tremendous pride in their motherland and its wonders.

     Don’t forget to taste the traditional barbeque in the evening. This unique way of cooking the meat is used as a special technique with hot stone.

DAY 7: BAYANZAG

   Today, head to one of the most popular archaeological sites Bayanzag put Mongolia on the map of international adventure seekers. Did you know that the very first dinosaur eggs were discovered in Mongolia in 1922?

    Then, let's walk around where dinosaur once roamed 70 million years ago. It is better known as the Flaming Cliffs so named by an American zoologist Roy Andrew Chapman. Take photographs of the surrounding nature. Enjoy stories and legends of this special place from our knowledgeable tour guide.

DAY 8: ULAANBAATAR CITY

   We will fly back to Ulaanbaatar. Spend some free time shopping at the famous Mongolian cashmere and department shops for delicate cashmere scarves and souvenirs.

   We invite you to the farewell dinner. Choose your own ingredients from a great variety of choice meats, seafood, fresh vegetables, and spices. Enjoy watching how the expert grillers prepare your food on a hot grill.

DAY 9: DEPARTURE
